Black Linen-Cotton Cropped Verge Pants

The Verge Pants use the same relaxed, easy-fitting shape as my Sidewalk Pants, but instead of flaring towards the hem, the leg falls straight.

For this version, I’ve also cropped the length by 12cm - creating a simple, slightly more structured pant that works beautifully with the heavier linen-cotton fabric.

They have a 63cm inner leg, so they’ll sit at a cropped length on taller and average-height women, while on shorter women they may work beautifully as a full-length straight-leg pant.

One of my favourite details is the extra-deep 8cm hem. It gives some weight to the bottom of the leg so the heavier linen-cotton hangs really nicely rather than kicking out at the ankle.

The fabric itself has more substance and texture than the softer linen-viscose I use for my Sidewalk Pants. It starts out with a slightly more robust, textured feel and will soften beautifully with washing and wear.

And because I’m sewing these myself in my Lismore studio, there really aren't many.

I’ve made most of the batch ahead of launch, with just enough fabric set aside for three additional made-to-order pairs in each colour once the ready-made sizes sell out.
